‘MQM will sweep LG polls’

May 09, 2010

HYDERABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement will sweep the local government elections in the interior of Sindh, said minister and Joint incharge of the party’s Sindh Tanzeemi Committee, Nisar Panhwar, while talking to APP at Circuit House Saturday.

He said that the party had members in every taluka of the province and they were working on strengthening it by “extricating poor people from the clutches of the feudal system”. The Tanzeemi Committee was formed in 2003. He dispelled the impression that the central leadership did not include Sindhis and gave himself besides a number of other leaders as an example.
