JICA has provided the equipment as Grant-in-aid to CAA Pakistan

KARACHI: To bring the security needs of the country’s airports at par with the international standard i.e. ICAO, TSA and ECAC and in view of technological advancements, the installation of state-of-the-art equipment was considered essential to achieve the desired security goals set by international communities. JICA has provided the equipment as Grant-in-aid to CAA Pakistan.  In view of that, CAA with the help of Government of Pakistan initiated a project for improvement of security at airports in Pakistan. The Government of Japan will provide equipment as grant-in-aid to CAA Pakistan to be installed at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore and Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.
