The first teaser of Farhan Akhtar's Rock On!! 2 is out and has left viewers enthralled.

Starring Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai amd Sharaddha Kapoor, the film promises to be a musical treat. The teaser of the Rock On!! sequel begins with Farhan Akhtar rowing a boat in a placid lake, informing us that dissolved rock band Magnik has been have revived.

The one-and-a-half minute teaser gives us a glimpse of the band's new avatar. As the teaser unfolds, we see Shraddha playing a keyboard who goes on to becomes the band's vocalist.

She seems to be unsure about her skills while Farhan persuades her to acknowledge her hidden singing talent. We get to hear a slightly modified version of the film's original track Rock On featuring Farhan and Shraddha's vocals.

Shot in the hill station of Shillong, the teaser is visually pleasing. Farhan creates suspense with his dialogue, "Magnik has not performed for many years and is only back for a reason, This. Is. It."

Well, we'll have to wait for the film to release in order to know all about it. We also witness a glimpse of other characters in the teaser. The film promises to be an emotional roller coaster premised on the characters pursuing their passion for music.

Rock On!! was released in 2008.  Rock On!! 2 is directed by Shujaat Saudagar.
