Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

While it’s essential you take the difficulties indicated by the recent clash between the Sun and practical Saturn seriously, invest time in confirming the facts before you act. It may be that others are misinformed or it’s equally possible that you misunderstood the nature of the problems in question.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Watching plans you’ve struggled to organise come undone is no fun. Yet once you’re actually delving into the situations in question, you’ll be relieved events called your attention to these minor problems before they turned into something of a more major nature. Take action now and you’ll resolve them easily.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Being ruled by clever Mercury, you’re probably aware it’s currently retrograde, that is, moving backwards in the heavens. But you may not be conscious that the resulting minor errors could prove unexpectedly informative, especially regarding domestic or family issues. Ask a few questions and you’ll be amazed how much you learn.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

Aggravating, if not worrying, as recent obstacles were at the time, now that you’re looking back on them, you’ve a very different perspective. In fact, it’s clear these were about breaking up arrangements that seemed worthwhile but which were gradually devouring time or money and giving little in return.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Few things infuriate you more than dealing with those who aren’t organised. While, ordinarily, their inability to keep track of things is entirely their fault, with the planet of ideas and communication, Mercury, in reverse movement and causing confusion, everybody’s facing chaos that, for various reasons, they can’t control, including you.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Although the powerful Virgo eclipsed New Moon took place a few days ago, you’re still thinking about certain events, discussions and, especially, potential developments. Clear cut as some seem, you’re in the midst of a chaotic period, which means even these are likely to change, and change again, before they’re settled.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Planning ahead may be a virtue. However, since it’s nearly impossible to estimate the powerful, and positive, influence of Jupiter’s move into Libra on Friday, regard even simple arrangements as tentative. Most of all, be prepared to explore. It’s in your sign for a year, so there’s lots to see and encounter.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

For ages you’ve sensed there’d be changes, some unsettling and others a source of potential difficulties. The problem is, with the retrograde Mercury confusing even the simplest of situations, it isn’t easy to tell which is which. For now, show interest in what’s promising but make no commitments until you’ve learnt more.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Between the past week’s unsettling events and others’ inability to make even minor decisions, you’re stuck. You’ve done what you could on your own. The rest? You’ve no choice but to allow everything else to wait. Frustrating as that is now, within days you’ll be relieved you did so little.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

It would be easy to mistake the obstacles indicated by clashes, last week and this Friday, with your ruler Saturn as serious problems. Actually, they’re more about defining and dealing with several specific and rather tricky situations. Tackle them head on and you’ll soon be able to forget them.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

You’re inquisitive, so really enjoy hearing about new ideas and considering changes. Actually making them without having researched their nature or direction is another matter. However, the events triggered by eclipses, on the 1st and on the 16th, give you no choice. Explore these. The more you learn, the less you’ll worry.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Unfair as the obstacles you’re facing seem, they’re forcing you to face up to one particularly tricky situation. Deal with each head on, which means acknowledging certain issues that you’ve been hoping weren’t true, and soon both those obstacles and the issues behind them will become part of the past.
