Despite having denied her rumoured love affair with Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor many times before, Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane recently shared she would love to work with him, reported IANS. In fact, the Sanam Teri Kasam beauty revealed that the Tamasha actor is on top of her co-star wish list and she feels there are few actors like him in the Indian film industry.

“On the top of my wishlist is Ranbir Kapoor. I hope I can get a chance to work with him soon,” Hocane said, in an interview. “If you ask me about directors, then I am ready to work with anybody and everybody because I don’t find myself in the position of choosing directors. I hope that they choose me and find me worthy enough for their films. I really want to work more in India,” said the 23-year-old.

In an earlier interview, Hocane recalled the incident of how rumours of a secret romance between Kapoor and herself surfaced after she expressed her admiration for the Barfi! actor over social media. “You see, everyone matures. I am well aware of where I stand today and how what I say or do can become a headline. I don’t mention Ranbir anymore, but still get his name in scripts at award shows, so I avoid the topic altogether,” she said.

Asked about film genres she wishes to be a part of, Hocane said she is attracted towards period dramas such as Bajirao Mastani and Umrao Jaan. She further mentioned that she would love to star in a biopic on late singer Nazia Hassan. “I heard Nazia’s story when I was a child. My mother really likes her and I would love to play Nazia in a film,” she added.
