PESHAWAR: A six-year-old boy went missing from Kidney Centre in Hayatabad on Saturday.

While speaking to The Express Tribune, the boy’s relative said Zaid along with other siblings was taken to the centre by their father Abdul Hanan, who is a Class-IV employee.

“The boy was not feeling well so his father took him along with other children to Hayatabad Medical Complex and then to Kidney Centre where he is posted,” he said. “The children are familiar with the building as they frequently visited it.” However, on Thursday, he said the child disappeared around 12pm and was never found.

The deceased’s relative said, “He was just six-years-old and was familiar with the building so there are no chances of his going astray. What is more worrisome is the fact that some people told us two boys were taking a child out of the building from the back door. The back door is used to avoid CCTV cameras installed in the premises.”

He said Hayatabad police had been informed and they were investigating the matter.
