Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

It’s an exciting time for every sign, although at the moment you and others are probably more aware of the chaos being triggered by events, and less conscious of the benefits. Tempting as it is to battle changes, especially those causing disarray, you’d regret it. You’ll soon recognise how amazing these developments are.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Being a Taurus, and ruled by gracious Venus, you’ve a rare ability to be practical yet tough. That is, you’ve a knack for confronting others and informing them how things need to be done, and making it clear they’ve no alternative. Yet, bizarrely, those conversations are civilised and end on an upbeat note.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Seemingly minor battles could easily turn into a contest about who’s best informed, and then become serious power struggles. Be watchful and wary of this, since once you’re involved, backing out will be very challenging indeed. If things get tense, your best strategy is to change the subject or simply vanish.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

There are decisions and then there are final decisions. Usually there’s not much difference between the two. But now there is, and with Mercury retrograde until the 22nd, it may not be until then that those decisions can realistically be regarded as definite. Knowing that, until then, keep arrangements and your thinking flexible.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Certain already tense situations are getting worse by the day. Since there’s no way they’ll vanish, you really have no choice but to discuss them, and frankly. However, you can take advantage of the superb planetary support between now and midweek. Organise your thoughts, then tackle these over the next few days.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

If ever there was a time to take chances, and in a way that ordinarily you would never consider, it’s now. The more adventurous you are, the better. This allows you to take advantage of the influence of the planet of growth and good fortune, Jupiter, and its final days in your sign.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Planning ahead may be a virtue and, even more, means you can begin organising things in advance. Still, judging by the influence of September’s two eclipses and Jupiter’s arrival in Libra, even the simplest of arrangements should be regarded as tentative. The more flexible they are, the better.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Unlikely as it seems, it’s worth tackling issues from the past. In many cases, you never actually talked over what went wrong, so your feelings may be based on a lack of facts. In others, you pretended things were fine when, indeed, they weren’t. Discussions could bring miraculous results.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Many of the heavenly bodies move through the signs swiftly. However, your ruling planet Jupiter transitions into a new sign, and to accent a new part of your chart, only once a year. Thus its departure from the conscientious Virgo and move into sociable Libra, on the 9th, promise exciting changes.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

While the retrograde Mercury gets blamed for lots of problems, it’s only the planet of communication and so, any issues tend to involve misunderstandings or minor errors. Those you’re facing now, however, are about unwise plans from the past that need to be rethought, and the sooner, the better.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

There are many ways to say ‘no’, and at the moment, you’re urged to select one that could be interpreted as meaning ‘maybe’. Solid as circumstances seem and, equally, firm as your views are, changes aren’t just likely, they’re inevitable. The surprising insights that surface over the coming week could prove revolutionary.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Planning ahead may be a virtue. In your case, however, you’re urged to factor in the influence of the powerful Pisces eclipsed Full Moon, on the 16th. This, which is the second of a pair of eclipses, is about breakthroughs, some anticipated but others as unexpected as they are exciting.
