President stresses on enhancing relations with Brunei darussalam

ISLAMABAD: Brunei Darussalam is a close and trusted friend of Pakistan, said President Mamnoon Hussain, emphasising the need to work with dedication to further deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Talking to Pakistan’s High Commissioner-designate to Brunei Darussalam Maj Gen (retd) Tariq Rashid Khan, the president urged him to play a role in strengthening ties with Brunei. He said that immense opportunities for investment in Pakistan and Brunei existed from which entrepreneurs of both countries should benefit, adding that Pakistan can provide sufficient manpower. He underlined that enhancement of trade between the two countries would further cement bilateral cooperation and stressed on increasing cooperation in the defence sector.
