Having a bad day? Has the world got you down? Does it feel like nothing ever goes your way? Then cheer yourself up! Yes, it’s possible. Just try out one of these tips and you’ll feel your spirits being lifted back up again.

1. Talking to your best friend


You’ll feel better if you pour your heart out to someone you trust and love. Once you unload the cause of all your worries and distress, you'll immediately feel lighter and less burdened. Sometimes all you need is a shoulder to cry on.


2. Watching a Pixar or Disney movie


Pixar and Disney will never fail to cheer you up and make you laugh. Take a pick from one of your favourites and watch it.


3. Binge on some comfort food


Your favourite ice cream, a few bags of chips and shamelessly indulging in chocolate is all you need to feel better – even on the worst days of your life. Comfort food can cheer anyone up.


4. Go for paintball


Having a paintball showdown with your friends could be the answer to relieving pent up emotions.


5. Hug your mom


Is there anything your mom can’t do? Even her hugs can make you feel like there’s nothing wrong in the world.


6. Cry


Just let it out. It’s okay to cry; sometimes we just need to get it out of our system. Crying doesn’t mean you’re weak!


7. Watch some funny videos

8. Shopping


There’s something about buying yourself some clothes that makes everything better. Retail therapy is real people.


9. Spend some time with a child


Children have a spark in them which adults have lost. They look at the world in such a simple way that it makes one realise just how much adults complicate things for themselves.


10. Sleep


When all else fails, call a time out from life and take a nap. It’ll help you recharge.
