Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Although the current eclipsed New Moon influences you powerfully, you’re urged not to rush into decisions. In fact, because it’s linked to the second eclipse in mid-September, you’ll want to talk things over with others now, and then join together to observe the changes that unfold over the coming weeks.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Don’t allow the confusion triggered by Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which began in late August and continues until 22 September, worry you. While errors can’t be avoided, what you learn in the process of dealing with them, and especially putting things right, will prove hugely informative, now and in the future.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Tempting as it is to argue certain issues, point by point, with somebody who’s already ready for a good, old fashioned battle, you’d regret it. The individual in question is feeling unusually vulnerable and, for that reason, could take what’s said far more seriously than usual. For now, be kind and understanding.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

It would be easy to allow the confusion of this tricky period to overshadow what’s wonderful, which is exciting changes, and on so many fronts. In some cases these are about improving on past arrangements, and where they’re unworkable, undoing them. But, as much, you’re discovering thrilling new options.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

The courage and strong ego you benefit from, as a Leo, means you’re rarely upset by unintentional slights or unkind words. Yet with the communication planet Mercury retrograde and triggering confusion, you’re urged to check out puzzling or hurtful statements. The odds are good there’s been a misunderstanding of some sort.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

While ordinarily, you’d talk matters over in depth before making plans, with things moving so swiftly, you’d best focus on the unexpected. Knowing that, do something out of character and regard plans as a bit of an experiment. This ensures you’re able to rethink plans as circumstances change.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

True, you’d definitely profit from discussing various concerns. Still, resist the temptation to turn those exchanges into a lasting arrangement of any kind. With September’s two eclipses, now, and on the 16th, shaking things up, you’re better off exploring various options but ensuring any plans you devise are flexible.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

It isn’t easy to fool a Scorpio. Even those who’re born under your sign and pretend to be vague about facts are actually superb at observing both events and the actions of others. Still, even at your canniest, the twists and turns triggered by the now-retrograde Mercury could surprise you.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Others may be impatient about dealing with the minor errors currently besieging everybody. While it’s true, some can be dealt with swiftly, others will take time. From your perspective, however, with your ruler Jupiter moving into a new sign, on the 9th, triggering powerful changes, you’re better off taking things slowly.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

By no means are you narrow-minded. In fact, if something or somebody is intriguing, you’ll explore, and in depth. However, the questions raised and the insights you’ll gain as a result of the unexpected events triggered by September’s eclipses, on the 1st and 16th, will reveal a new, and fascinating, world.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

Sometimes there’s little point in pursuing differences with others about seemingly straightforward issues. There are the facts, and then there’s their take on these matters. While you’re better off saying nothing, if you must speak up, do so once, and briefly. Then, challenging as it may be, say nothing more.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Every once in a while you forget that not everybody is as attentive to the moods of others as you are. Thus, while some can’t understand one particular individual’s lack of enthusiasm about plans that excite most, it’s no mystery to you. While it won’t be easy, if anybody can explain, you can.
