Jiu-jitsu: Eight-member squad to represent Pakistan in Korea

The Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), yesterday, announced that Pakistan would be sending a contingent of eight to compete at the World Martial Art Masterships, scheduled to commence from September 2 in South Korea.
Ju-jitsu Beach Championship: Pakistan clinch 15 medals
A total of 231 athletes from 21 countries are expected to feature in the event which will include 14 martial arts disciplines including taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, muay thai and kick-boxing among others.
Team manager Tariq Ali revealed that four men and as many women, whose names will be announced on September 1, will form the Pakistan contingent and is confident the team would be winning medals at the championships.
“We are going with a lot of expectations and it is our first time competing in South Korea,” Ali told The Express Tribune. “We have been holding a training camp in Lahore and we have 20 players to choose from. We are certain that will be bringing back few medals.”
