Tribute to heroes: ‘20 Pakistanis to be proud of’

Tauqeer Muhajir’s book titled ‘20 Pakistanis to be proud of’ was launched during a ceremony at Mohatta Palace. Addressing the audience, Muhajir said, “This book is a tribute to the heroes of Pakistan who have sacrificed their lives for the country.” It is a celebration of 20 heroes of our country and their successes, he said. Mujahir added that these icons have been selected for being consistently outstanding in their chosen careers. The list of these icons includes musicians, scientists, poets, painters, humanitarians, business tycoons, sportsmen, development pioneers, authors, education activists, film-makers and father of the nation, Mohammad Ali Jinnah. He said it was certainly not an easy task to confine the list to just 20 heroes because there are hundreds of names that could easily have featured in a top icon list for the country.
