KARACHI: In a crackdown against the illegal political offices in Karachi, two more offices of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were bulldozed in Soldier Bazaar area on Tuesday.

The offices were demolished under the presence of the Rangers and police. MQM's illegal offices are being demolished across the city, following the directives of the Sindh chief minister Murad Ali Shah.

Nearly 32 MQM offices located in various parts of the city, including Lines Area, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, Garden and Kharadar, have so far been demolished by Karachi Development Authority, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and law enforcement agencies since a crackdown against the illegal party offices started after MQM chief Altaf Hussain's controversial speech on August 22.  Meanwhile, around 180 party offices remain sealed, where MQM workers are not allowed to conduct any political activity.
