Wall collapse: Child dies, four others injured

SUKKUR: A minor girl was killed while her family members were injured when a wall collapsed on them after strong winds hit Mirpur Mathelo late Wednesday night. Strong winds coupled with light showers were experienced in Mirpur Mathelo and surrounding areas, due to which the wall of the house collapsed near Ghanta Ghar. Two women and two minor girls were injured during the incident. Those injured were Mai Shafo, her daughter, Shahnaz, and Shahnaz’s seven-year-old twin daughters, Safa and Marwa. The injured were pulled from under the debris and shifted to Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo. The twins were referred to Rahim Yar Khan Hospital, where Marwa succumbed to her injuries.
