Pipeline: Drug makers considering price cut
More than 100 CEOs of pharma companies from across the country would gather at PPMA office in Islamabad on Saturday

Local drug manufacturers are reportedly considering to slash prices by up to 40% to facilitate patients. Market sources quoting local manufacturers said Wednesday that prices that have witnessed an increase include medicines used to treat blood pressure, diabetes, cardiac diseases and flu. When contacted, Honing Pharma CEO Rizwan Baig said local producers have expressed a willingness to slash drug prices by up to 40% in phases. For the purpose, more than 100 CEOs of pharma companies from across the country would gather at PPMA office in Islamabad on Saturday.
