Four men gunned down in Harnai district

Family yet to nominate culprits

QUETTA: Armed assailants on Friday barged into a house at Shahrag area of Harnai district of Balochistan and gunned down at least four people.

According to Levies, unknown armed men forced their way into the house of a Zar Khan and opened indiscriminate firing. “Four men including two brothers were killed on the spot while a woman sustained bullet injuries,” said a Levies official.

He said after the incident rescue workers and Levies Force rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies and injured woman to a nearby hospital, where the victims were identified as Khuda-e-Dad, Zamlok Khan, Ali Jan and Sorab Khan.

“Motives behind the murder might be a domestic enmity but our investigations are under way,” he said, adding that Levies have lodged a case against unknown persons as the family has yet to nominate the culprits.
