PESHAWAR: Right to Information Commission Chief Information Commissioner Sahibzada Muhammad Khalid has retired after completing his tenure. This was announced in a press release on Wednesday.  He was the first chief information commissioner to be appointed after the enactment of the RTI act. A farewell ceremony was hosted by the commission to honour his services. The commission has answered thousands of complainants which were denied at first. “Transparency in public bodies is a fundamental right,” the press release cited Khalid as saying. He advised the employees to devote themselves to public service.
