Premier League giants Chelsea are eyeing a move for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez, according to Spanish daily sports newspaper Sport.

The Colombian's future is again in the air after the arrival of youngster Marco Asensio, who started for the Los Blancos in the Uefa Super Cup match against Sevilla, and scored a stunning goal for his team.

It was believed that Coach Zinedine Zidane wanted the 25-year-old to stay at the club. However, Madrid have abundance of options in the midfield, and with Chelsea having reportedly €150 million left to strengthen their squad, Rodriguez can be tempted to leave the club in order to get more first team football.

The deal also looks imminent as Madrid based newspaper Marca also reported that the club’s hierarchy told the midfielder to try his luck somewhere else.

Premier League club Arsenal are confident of signing Valencia’s Shkodran Mustafi despite talks between the clubs being stalled over the weekend, according to Goal.com.

The 24-year-old became a target of the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger after injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel, which left the club short on defensive options.

Wenger believes that the German international has the credentials and age on his side to strengthen the defensive line of his team.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Febregas is on the verge of leaving the Premier League outfit, Spanish daily sports newspaper Sport reported.

New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte left the Spanish international on the bench in the opening win against West Ham on Monday night, and it is seemed that the agent of the 29-year-old is looking for options in La Liga for his client, preferably in Madrid.

It was reported earlier that Fabregas was offered to the Italian champions Juventus, but the Turin based club instead opted for Roma’s Miralem Pjanić.

Crystal Palace want Newcastle’s Sissoko

Premier League club Crystal Palace are interested in signing Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Palace are reportedly aiming to reinvest the money raised through the sales of winger Yannick Bolasie to Everton, who made a switch to the Liverpool based club for a reported fee of £25 million.

Championship side wants £35 million for Sissoko, who had an impressive Euro 2016, and is desperately looking for a way out of St. James’s Park before the end of transfer window.

There were reports of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid for the 26-year-old, but a move to Selhurst Park looks as a more likely option for the French international, who will rejoin his former boss Alan Pardew, who signed him from Toulouse in 2013.
