Terrorism: Two police officials shot dead in separate incidents

SWABI: Unidentified gunmen killed an additional SHO in Adina village, Swabi on Monday. “Additional SHO Syed Ibrar Khan was at a shop when unidentified gunmen open fire at him, leaving him critically injured,” Kalu Khan SHO Haroon Khan told The Express Tribune. “He was rushed to hospital for treatment. But he succumbed to his the gunshots.”

Syed Ibrar was incharge of the anti-car lifting cell in Swabi. He was famous for his bravery in dealing with car lifters and was recently posted as an additional SHO in Mangi, Nowshera district police station.

His final rites were performed at Nowshera police station, which was attended by the DPOs of Swabi and Nowshera and Mardan DIG.
Syed Ibrar was laid to rest in his hometown in Mardan.
