The clash broke out in the early hours of Monday in Islamabad's F10-3 area. According an initial postmortem report, the victim received four bullets; two in the face, one in the neck and one in the back.

Police said the exchange of fire was rooted in a personal dispute.

In May, Islamabad police registered a case against former chairman Senate Nayyer Hussain Bokhari for allegedly assaulting a police official on duty.

Reports suggested Bokhari, who is a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and a practicing lawyer, allegedly slapped a policeman at city district court when the official tried to conduct a body search.

Bokhari was asked to stop for a body search as he arrived at the court, following which the former chairman Senate slapped and also threatened a constable.

Javed ahmed | 8 years ago | Reply The fight was mainly between Ayesha Atta (Butt) owner of Allure beauty parlour in F10, and the girl friend of Raja Arshad. Ayesha Atta is the keep of Husnain malik, son of bootlegger Malik Tariq and mamoo of Fahad Malik. Ayesha called her biy friend hasnain to settle the issue when Raja Arshad had intervened. Fight began and ended with the police intervening. They were taken to police station where Raja Arshad had more influence as belonged to Khokhar clan. Fahad Malik was called to sort out. Later firing erupted outside police station where Fahad was shot along with Malik Tariq.
ash | 8 years ago | Reply Your newspaper needs to get it's facts straight. The deceased was not armed and did not exchange any gun fire with the perpetrators. It is truly disgusting how you have twisted this story. Isn't it sad enough that such a wretched incident happened and that there is a family out there suffering enough over the loss of a loved one's life? Why are you spreading incorrect information? Do you not believe in non-discrimination in your reporting and should you not be listing only the facts as the news and not hearsay? Disgusting.
