Weather woes: Snow ends in Astore

ASTORE: The spell of rain and snowfall ended here on Tuesday. Flights from Gilgit have resumed while tourists have also started visiting these areas from different parts of the country.

Record snowfall was observed in the district, with -8 Celsius being the minimum temperature recorded in Astore. PWD and FWO are clearing roads affected by landslides in the district. Karakoram Highway will be opened in two to three days, official sources said.
