She’s already become the hottest, most talked about villain since the DC Suicide Squad trailers have started rolling in, but Margot Robbie recently gave fans another reason to admire her.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the star — who plays Harley Quinn in the movie — revealed that she held her breath underwater for five whole minutes for a particular fight scene. According to Entertainment Weekly, she also shared that she learnt how to hold her breath much longer than her own stunt double.

“I worked with this amazing free-diver, and he came in and I did four sessions with him. His name’s Kirk, and I used to call him Captain Kirk,” she said to Fallon. “It’s all about lowering your metabolic rate. You kinda, like, meditate underwater. It’s what free-divers do, but it’s amazing. I got to five minutes and I was like, ‘You know what? This is above and beyond what I thought I’d get to.’ And later thought I’m good with five.”

On the other hand the film’s director David Ayer recently came under fire after he openly hurled abuse at comic world competitor Marvel during the film’s premier. However, he apologised for the act later on Twitter saying, “Sorry about getting caught up in the moment. Someone said it. I echoed. Not cool. Respect for my brother filmmakers.”
