The newly-elected CM has directed all his cabinet members to keep him informed about their activities and issues on the smartphone messaging app, sources told The Express Tribune.
“Cabinet members have already started sharing photos of their visits, meetings and other activities on the group,” they added.
Slashing protocol
Meanwhile, the chief minister has also directed his principal secretary Alamuddin Bullo to slash the former’s motorcade protocol by 50 per cent.
“I don’t believe in unnecessary protocol because the huge cavalcade of protocol causes problems in the smooth flow of traffic,” Shah said.
Shah was informed that nine vehicles/police mobiles usually move with the chief minister in his security and protocol. However, the CM asked for the protocol to be reduced to four vehicles.
Who is Murad Ali Shah?
Shah took oath of a minister in November 2014 after he was declared an unopposed winner from PS-73 (Jamshoro) in the elections held in the same month. Previously an adviser to former Sindh CM, Shah had surrendered his Canadian citizenship and submitted relevant documents in the court to contest the elections.
