Robbers injure a man, take away valuables

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man was injured and valuables worth millions of rupees were stolen in three robbery incidents in Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday.

Police said three unidentified masked men forced their way in the distribution office of a multi-national company in the Khayaban-i-Sarwar area. They took away Rs300,000, valuables and documents. Muhammad Bilal, an employee, had tried to resist. The robbers hit him with the butt of a gun and injured him. Bilal was taken to the DHQ Hospital’s trauma centre.

The Gadai SHO said they had registered a case and were looking into the matter.

Separately, unidentified the men had broken open the locks of a shop and taken away valuables from six shops in Leghari Colony.  Civil Lines police have registered a case against unidentified suspects.
