PESHAWAR: Promotions have been granted to 10 faculty members from Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), Khyber College for Dentistry (KCD) Peshawar and Khyber Medical College (KMC).

According to a statement issued by the administration of KTH, the decision was taken at its 12th meeting. The promotions have been granted on the recommendations of the recruitment and promotion committee at KTH and the board of governors (BoG)

As per the statement, the meeting was chaired by BoG Chairperson Dr Faisal Sultan. On this occasion, Rahmatullah was appointed as nursing director KTH.

“Dr Hamza Khan was promoted from associate professor to professor of medicine,” the statement read. “Dr Zakirullah was promoted from the post of associate professor to professor of ENT and Dr Naila Hamid from the post of assistant professor of physiology to associate professor at KMC.”

According to the statement, Dr Muhammad Zahid has been promoted to associate professor KMC and Dr Zahid Shah was promoted to associate professor.

The statement added Dr Muslim Khan was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor at KCD.
