Illegal assets: NAB arrests Haripur forest officer

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Haripur District Forest Officer Tauheedul Haq for allegedly accumulating illegal assets worth Rs28.87 million. As per a handout issued on Tuesday, NAB initiated an enquiry against the suspect on corruption charges. During the course of investigation, it transpired that Haq held different posts in the department and allegedly piled up assets worth millions of rupees in his name and that of his dependents.
