RAWALPINDI:
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday reached Cairo on a two-day official visit, according to Tweet message by Director General ISPR, Lt Gen Asim Bajwa. The COAS was presented guard of honour at the Egyptian Army Headquarters. He held separate meetings with Commander-in-Chief and Minister of Defence Colonel General Sedki Sobhi and the Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy. Both sides vowed to synergise all efforts and resources to fight and eliminate terrorism.
