Bust: Bootlegger arrested
Police arrested a suspect bootlegger and recovered 18 bottles of imported vodka from him, on Monday. Police said that they received a tip-off about the suspect and intercepted a Land Cruiser (LA-66) on Parbat Road in Sector F-7. The driver was identified as Malik Abdul Quddus, a resident of F-7/4. Quddus was arrested when he could not produce a permit for the alcohol and was booked under Sections three and four of the Prohibition Order 1979.
