Crime: Woman stabbed ‘over honour’ 

Police said they would register an FIR after preliminary investigation was complete

LAHORE: A woman was stabbed to death in Sundar area on Friday. Witnesses told police officials that she was killed by her brother-in-law in what they said was a crime of honour. They told the police they had doubted her character. Police said the deceased had been stabbed several times in the stomach. They said she was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. The body was sent to the morgue for an autopsy and forensic evidence collected from the scene. Police said they would register an FIR after preliminary investigation was complete.
