6-year-old girl raped by man in Rahim Yar Khan

The victim’s first medical examination report confirms that she was raped

BAHAWALPUR: A six-year-old child was raped by a 27-year-old man in a Rahim Yar Khan C-Division police precinct on Wednesday. Police said they had arrested the suspect.

Muhammad Ahmed*, a resident of Islamia Colony, Rahim Yar Khan, said in his complaint that his daughter had gone out in the street to play with her friends. He said Muhammad Akbar, 27, picked her up from there and took her to a nearby field where he raped her. He left her lying there and fled.

Ahmed said that people in the area heard screaming and crying in the fields and went to investigate. They found the six-year-old crying and took her to Ahmed.

He said that his daughter told him that Akbar had muffled her cries by gagging her. SHO Ghulam Murtaza said they had registered the case on Ahmed’s complaint. He said the victim’s first medical examination report had confirmed that she had been raped.

Rehmat Ali | 8 years ago | Reply Start cutting organ of rapist publicly and see the difference. Rapists submit mental ill certificates,bribes and are freed. Slow, injustice judicial system,police system work under political influence are root causes of such crimes.

NKAli | 8 years ago | Reply When I get up in the morning and this kind of news hits me, I almost go mad with anger. Poor and innocent child! What did she do wrong to get this treatment? NOTHING!!! Of course, our hearts are hardened and the LEAs just don't give a damn. Where are the Supreme Court suo motos notices and calls for action. The police will not do anything but the Court can drive the issue to a punishment. Just think of the doom and gloom in the household after this incident. Salams

Ahmed | 8 years ago | Reply Do not kill the rapist. Castrate him, give him hard genital mutilation, change his gender and then lock him up in the men's jail. Allow all the prisoners to rape him for next 4-5 decades. Lock up his sisters or mother in the same cell as well with same privileges.
