Wounded: Nazim’s son injured in attack

The son of nazim of Zargarabad union council nazim was shot and injured in Yakatoot on Wednesday. Mir Zaman,  whose father belongs to ANP, was near his residence when a man opened fire on him with a 9mm pistol. Zaman retained a single injury on one of his hands. Locals snatched the gun from the attacker. His accomplice, however, managed to escape the site. The injured nazim was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital. The attacker was handed over to police and shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation. Talking to The Express Tribune, SP City Wasim Khalil said investigations are still under way about whether it was a targeted attack or triggered by a personal dispute.
