This Adnan Pardesy jacket is heavily embellished, using brown-bronze thread work with bronze beading and gold sequin detailing. It is lined using an opulent beige silk fabric and the bell sleeves add drama to the statement jacket. The designer states that the intricate pattern on the jacket is inspired by the artwork of William Morris.

My style aesthetic is really minimal, so if I were wearing something as heavy as this jacket, I’d tone everything else down. My favourite look is all-black, with a pop of colour or a quirky accessory. So I decided to wear a plain black top with black satin pants, and I put the jacket over one shoulder, as it was too bulky to wear as a coat. I think it makes the perfect accent for my simple attire. I then added a pair of black tassel earrings I had bought from Gulf and completed my look with black bootie heels. If I’m wearing all black or going out at night, I love a really dark red lip, and a simple cat-eye with straight hair. This outfit is perfect for a wedding party, it’s understated enough — yet the jacket adds that extra oomph!

To style this heavily embellished Adnan Pardesy jacket, I opted for an all-black look. I would describe my style as casual-chic, and to stay true to it, I wore the jacket with black skinny jeans from Top Shop and a plain black crop top from Zara. For accessories, I wore my everyday watch and small earrings. Since the jacket itself is a statement piece, I kept the rest of my outfit very simple. I wore black heels and carried a gold clutch. I had my hair blow-dried with soft curls and kept my make-up minimal and fresh, with winged eyeliner. I would wear this outfit to a formal dinner.

My style is usually minimalistic, with an edge. I decided to go with an eastern look with this Adnan Pardesy jacket. Since the jacket itself was heavily embellished, I decided to keep the rest of my outfit simple. I wore black matching separates by Misha Lakhani and my black and white Valentino ‘Rockstud’ heels. To style the jacket, I wore it as is and layered a beige scarf around it. I didn’t want to over-accessorise and take away from it, so I just wore my everyday jewellery including my diamond ear studs, a sapphire and diamond ring, and the ‘Trinity’ ring by Cartier. Shaheen Saeed did my make-up, giving me a bronze smoky eye with pale pink lipstick. I would wear this outfit to a winter dholki.
