FAISALABAD: A girl was allegedly raped by two men in a Khurarianwala police precinct on Sunday.

Akram Ali, an uncle of the victim, told The Express Tribune that his niece had been alone at her house in Chak 76-RB when two men from their neighbourhood climbed the roof of the house and entered it.

He said they raped her and abandoned her when she fainted. When her parents arrived, they found her lying unconscious, he said. They took her to a hospital.

“The doctors have confirmed that she was raped. They have said her condition is stable. She is still being treated,” the uncle said.

The Khurarianwala SHO said they had registered an FIR on a complaint from the girl’s family.
