Maintenance work: Power supply to remain suspended

PESHAWAR: Power supply to various areas of the city will remain suspended from 132 KV Peshawar Cantt Grid Station on July 20, 22, 25 and 27 from 6am to 12pm due to maintenance work. This was stated in a handout issued by Pesco on Monday.

According to the handout, consumers will face inconvenience owing to maintenance work.

“Power supply will remain suspended from Rehman Baba Grid Station on July 19, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 from 6am to 12pm,” the document added. “As a result, consumers of Akhunabad, Rashid Ghari and Musazai feeders will face inconvenience.”

As per the handout, power supply will remain suspended from 132 KV Peshawar City Grid Station on July 19 and 21 from 6am to 12pm creating inconvenience to consumers of  11 KV Gagra, Chughulpura, Chamkani, Nishtarabad  feeders.

Separately, a surveillance team from Pesco has seized 85 illegal kunda connections. A handout issued on Monday stated the surveillance team raided Khyber Circle, Mardan Circle and Bannu Circle.

According to details Surveillance team also nabbed 52 power pilferers from other areas, including seven from Lala sub division, 18 in Nishtarabad, nine in Town 2 sub division ,37 in Gulbahar sub division, five in City 2 sub division Mardan, nine in Yar Hussain and in Sher Ghar sub division.
