It is pertinent to mention that Inam and his brothers also have a musical group by the name of Raga Boyz and they have sung songs for both local and Indian films.
Talking to The Express Tribune, Inam clarified that in venturing solo he has not forgotten his family’s legacy. “Although our musical training began when we were very young, singing has never been an easy job for us,” he shared. “We have to secure our family’s tradition and people do not spare our mistakes. My father is my teacher and I am learning from him. I will be a reason of pride for him one day. I did not give up our traditions, no. We are well aware of the developments in music.”
O Ray Khuda was filmed in the northern areas of Pakistan and has been gaining popularity over social media but Inam remains steadfast. “We don’t rush for popularity as our mission is to work hard and deliver good music. I am hopeful that this year, we’ll do something great for our industry,” he said. “There are a number of good singers here. I humbly request all newcomers to focus on training. It’s their right to sing but also a duty to learn first.”
About his single, Inam said, “I have sung it with all my heart and hope that people will acknowledge that after seeing the video.” He is also planning a possible film debut for the near future. “There are a number of plans in my mind. There is a chance I start singing for films or I start acting if I get a good role,” he added.
