Bail rejected: Man arrested for kidnapping woman

ISLAMABAD: A man’s bail plea was rejected by a session’s court, in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a woman. The suspect, Abdur Rehman Qureshi, was arrested on July 13th, after Additional District and Sessions Judge Raja Asif Mehmood turned down his bail-before-arrest plea. Qureshi, a resident of Bannu, was booked by the Aabpara police on April 19th this year. He was produced before a judicial magistrate on July 14th and has now been given into police custody for four days. A police official told The Express Tribune that the kidnapped woman had not been recovered till that time. He said a co-accused had already been arrested and was in jail.
