Uniting for a cause: PTI condemns Kashmir atrocities

KARACHI: To condemn the 'atrocities' in Indian Kashmir, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a rally from Quaidabad to Dawood Chowrangi on Sunday.

The rally participants were holding placards and chanted slogans against the government for not raising the issue in the international community.

The people of Kashmir are connected with us through our hearts and we understand the pain they are suffering from, remarked PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh while addressing the protesters.

"How long can anyone continue to oppress a nation?" he asked.  One day, the people of Kashmir will prove to be successful in their endeavours, he added.

Sheikh also claimed that all the parties need to unite to pursue the cause of Kashmir and raise their voices together. He added that the Indian forces have crossed all the limits of atrocities against the innocent people of Kashmir. Only Imran Khan can get freedom for Kashmiris, said Sheikh. One of the participants, Raheem Bijar, said that if ordered by the leadership we will sacrifice all things dear to us for the freedom of Kashmir.
