Hub operation: Arshad Pappu group commander rounded up

QUETTA: Police have launched a search operation in Hub, the bordering city between Sindh and Balochistan, arresting one notorious commander of Arshad Papu group Agha Jami with members involved in spreading terror attacks in Lyari.

Talking to media District Police Officer (DPO) Lasbela Zia Mandokhail said, “Agha Jami along with his group members was hiding in Hub’s neighborhood when police arrested them.” He added that they belong to Lyari’s Arshad Pappu group and were involved in carrying out terror attacks.

Police have also seized arms and explosives from their compound.

The arrested commander of Lyari gang war has been shifted to undisclosed location for questioning. He and his group members will be presented before the court.

District Lasbela DPO Zia Mandokhail said, “Agha Jami’s arrest is a big achievement as he was a most wanted fugitive,” he added.
