NEW DELHI: Model-actress Lisa Haydon got a real kick with her cameo appearance in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. She says actor Anushka Sharma is completely straightforward, professional and easy to work with and Ranbir Kapoor is ‘cool’.

Details of the role that the India’s Next Top Model co-judge will be doing in filmmaker Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial venture, are shrouded in secrecy. The Queen star also shared that she was shy around Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is also a part of the film.

“I was shy around Aishwarya because of her beauty, poise and general awesomeness. Anushka is completely straightforward, professional and easy to work with. And Ranbir is cool... It was a good laugh doing this character with him,” Lisa said in an interview. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is co-produced by Fox Star India and Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release on October 28.

Talking about her role, Lisa said, “I got a real kick out of playing this character. I think that is all I should share.” For now, Lisa is co-judging India’s Next Top Model with celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani, while MTV VJ and actress Anusha Dandekar and grooming expert Neeraj Gaba will be the mentors of the contestants.

The show, which has 13 new faces competing with each other, is aired on MTV channel.  “It takes a lot more than beauty to be successful,” Lisa said, adding that the “winner will have to be hard working, determined, creative, know how to apply constructive criticism and think on their feet”.
