As the ninth year of the International iPhone Photography Awards (IPPA) comes to a close, the winners of 2016 have been announced. Submissions came from 139 countries all over the world with the only condition being that the photographs be captured with an iPhone, iPad or an iPad Touch.
The grand prize was awarded to 'Man and the Eagle' captured by Chinese photographer Siyuan Niu with the first prize being awarded to Polish photographer Patryk Kuleta. The second and third place prizes were awarded to Robin Robertis of California, and Carolyn Mara Borlenghu of Florida respectively.
Several prizes were also awarded to photographs in various categories including Animals, Architecture, People, Portrait, Travel, Sunset and Still Life among others.
