This Pakistani woman went on her honeymoon alone after her husband's visa was rejected

The result was absolutely hilarious!

Huma Mobin and Arsalan Sever got married seven months ago and obviously, wanted to travel together on their honeymoon. But the curse of the green passport wouldn't let it be with Sever's coming back with a big 'Rejected' stamp.

Huma, who is a creative manager at an ad agency, decided to still go and was accompanied by her in-laws. What's a honeymoon without your husband, though?

“I cried the first night on my mother-in-law’s shoulder, but she told me to make the best of it,” Huma told Buzzfeed.

And then she decided to actually have fun and the result was absolutely hilarious:

She told Buzzfeed how she got the idea of making this album. "After our engagement, he left for Budapest and sent me this picture."

Sarah | 8 years ago | Reply I would've found this adorable if it wasn't completely ripped off of a guy who went to trip without his wife and came back with a sad photo album - Kevin Blanford. Unlike Kevin's subtle yet hilariously 'sad' photos these are way OTT. Plus this was suppose to be their second 'honeymoon', they admitted goes to Maldives for their first one.

Secondly the newly wed couple and other tourists should now think going to far east Asian and SARC countries which have beautiful lakes/sites. Western and European countries are becoming too touchy rather arrogant about Green Passport. They are required to be realized that this world has other larger parts of tourism. Our people should also feel that their social status would not recede in case they do not go to Western/European countries.

The only group of people that I can think of that have a larger population across the world than in their own country are the Lebanese. I think this story is a load of crap. If my husband got his visa denied I would stay home with him.

When they look at Pakistani passport, they create issues and ensure the visa must be rejected. If embassy of the country taking you documents, then shouldn't be any problems.

I agree with an earlier comment that Pakistan has some very picturesque places worthy of visiting and no visas required. One can always go there. People should stop judging her and him for their pictures. They did something creative.

Unfortunately, our general population is so used to news of despair, hatred and fanaticism in the name of God that they've forgotten how to deal with humor. Wether the lady dated for 2 years or 10.., whether she went on her honeymoon alone or just a vacation... People!! Please look at the lighter side of things. Instead of making it a green passport issue why not look at the cute girl making light of a bigger political issue. Love her frowny sad pouts... The couple does know how to live it up.. something not common in Pakistani couples. Live and let others live!

In every consulate/embassy there are people who don't read the visa applications throughly despite visa fee is paid in advance. Most of the visa applications are rejected by British Authorities. Those who applied visas before EU referendum could not get the visit visas, though such passengers earlier visited UK and never overstayed in UK during their any or last visit. Every foreign consulate/embassy in Pakistan is not as humble as Pakistani consulates and embassies working abroad.
