Shuhada Package: Slain officer’s family gets Rs11m

PESHAWAR:  

K-P Administration Secretary Hassan Mehmood Yousafzai handed over on Monday a compensation cheque of Rs11 million under the Shuhada Package to the family of slain Nawab Khan Safi. The deceased was a section officer in the provincial selection board and was assassinated on June 22, 2016, in Wazir Bagh, Peshawar. Administration Deputy Secretary Muhammad Usman Mehsud and other officers were also present on the occasion. Hassan Mehmood expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the brothers and other relatives of the deceased and prayed the bereaved family be granted the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
