CHARSADDA:

A man accused Charsadda police of registering a fake case against him.  While addressing a news conference in Charsadda on Monday, Kamran Shah said he had a dispute with his neighbour Khadim Shah over a certain matter.

However, when the dispute escalated, they got involved in a scuffle and both suffered injuries. He added they were shifted to the hospital where police lodged a fake case against him after taking a bribe from Khadim.

He maintained the police also raided his house and misbehaved with the women. Kamran said the policemen arrested three of his family members and took away Rs0.5 million and 20 tolas of gold.  He urged the federal and provincial governments to take stern action against those involved and award them punishment.

Meanwhile, police said the case was registered as accused Kamran was involved in injuring Khadim Shah and he also took away Rs0.3 million from him.
