Deepika reveals why she refused to perform with Priyanka at IIFA '16

The Piku star was supposed to dance to Pinga with her Bajirao Mastani co-star

With Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone both vying to become the reigning queen of Bollywood, rumours have been abuzz that there was friction between the two when Deepika refused to do a joint performance with PeeCee at this year's IIFA awards in Madrid.

The Piku star, who was supposed to dance to Pinga with her Bajirao Mastani co-star finally addressed rumours, by saying that she didn't want to ruin PeeCee's performance.



"Priyanka is a fabulous performer and I didn't want to spoil her performance. We might not have done the dance together at IIFA but you can always play the song anywhere when we both are around and we will happily dance to Pinga," DNA reports Deepika as saying.

Previously, Priyanka had said, "Deepika and I get along really well. I have known her from before she became an actor and for a tough song like Pinga, she was the best partner I could have asked for," reports DNA.
