Imran was speaking to the media before flying back to Islamabad in the morning at the residence of party leader Tariq Shafi on Saturday. He had arrived in Karachi on Friday evening.
Sabri's killers must be arrested, punished: Imran Khan
The PTI leader said these two cases must be resolved with serious intent of the government. For durable peace in the city, he said, the government must de politicise the police department which should evaluate every criminal equally.
Imran criticised the federal government and said that the corruption of the ruling party (PML-N) is now exposed and there is now way we are stepping aside from the demand of resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He reiterated that his party is going to start a movement against corruption after Eid, where he will welcome other political parties to join him. He also took a dim view of how Maryam Nawaz was controlling the affairs of the government in the absence of Nawaz Sharif.
Imran was accompanied by PTI party members Naeem Ul Haq, Arif Alvi, Imran Ismail, Dawa Khan Sabir and Khurram Sher Zaman.
The PTI supremo while talking about his party in Sindh said that it is strengthening its organising structure in the province. Imran also revealed that after Eid he is going to come back for a detailed visit of the province.
Imran warns of agitation after Eid
During his busy trip Imran attended a fund raising Iftar dinner for his Shaukat Khanum memorial hospital and later on paid a visit to the recuperating Abdul Sattar Edhi.
Imran paid a visit to the Edhi Centre in Karachi and met Edhi whom he described as a living legend and icon for the youth of Pakistan.
He also visited the residence of slain Qawwal Amjad Sabri in Liaquatabad offered his condolences to the family and met his mother and elder brother Sarwat Sabri.
