Kasab’s conviction

KARACHI: Ajmal Kasab has now been sentenced to death but some questions remain. For instance, why were Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar and Ashok Kamte killed? I ask this because the court that convicted Kasab noted that the empties found near the bodies of these senior police officials did not match the weapons that the terrorists were carrying.

However, this seemed to be a point that wasn’t mentioned much in the Indian media. I strongly feel that Kasab should have been tried in the International Court of Justice because the victims were from 22 countries.
