Medical, dental colleges: 11,687 applicants registered so far for entrance test

PESHAWAR: So far, 11,687 applicants have registered to appear in the entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS at public and private medical and dental colleges of Khyber-Pakhtunkwa.

This was stated in a handout issued by Khyber Medical University. As per the document, out of the applicants who have registered 7,008 are male and 4,679 are female. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on July 24.

The bank branches where the registration fees can be submitted will remain open during Eidul Fitr holidays.

Fee Hike: Medical colleges asked to reverse fee 

The entrance test will be conducted in Peshawar, Swat, Abbottabad and DI Khan. A total of 7,112 applicants have so far registered for Peshawar centre, 1,290 for Abbottabad, 2,090 for Swat while 1,195 applicants have registered for the centre in DI Khan.

Applicants from Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab have also applied to appear in the entrance test against the reserved quota.
