Pakistan players hone fielding skills ahead of England series

After 10 days at Hampshire for training and acclimatisation, the Pakistan national team arrived in Taunton, Somerset on Wednesday, where fielding coach Steve Rixon joined the squad for a practice session.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), strength and conditioning coach Grant Luden said he was satisfied with the progress made so far by the national team.

Inzamam to join England tour in August

Pakistan arrived at the Somerset County Cricket Club’s training ground, where newly-appointed head coach Mickey Arthur gave a talk to the players on what he expects from everyone. Subsequently, Steve Rixon explained his philosophy of fielding to the national side.

Pakistan’s tour of England commences on July 14 when the national side takes on the hosts in the first Test at Lord’s cricket ground.
