Singing praises: ‘Nobody can reach Tiger’s level, he is my inspiration’

Actor Disha Patani talks about debut music video alongside ‘Baaghi’ star

MUMBAI: Film actor and model Disha Patani, who will make her big-screen debut with Baaghi actor Tiger Shroff in an upcoming music video, shares that she looks up to him and considers him her inspiration. Speaking at the launch of their song Befikra, Disha revealed she learnt most of her dance steps from Tiger in real life.

“I always try learning from him; I really look up to him. Actually I am doing gymnastics now and that is because of him. He is my inspiration, my motivation. He is just so hardworking. I always try dancing with him, but nobody can reach up to his level, he’s different.”

In Befikra, Disha is seen dancing along with Tiger. About the dance sequences, Disha revealed, “When you’re standing next to him, and people are noticing you, it’s a compliment for me, because when he dances you can’t see anyone else.” She added, “He has just got so much energy, he walks with this aura. You can’t really see anyone else when he is there. I just hope that I look decent dancing with him and I don’t look funny. It was a difficult task but his presence was quite a motivation.”



While the rumour mill is high on grist that Tiger and Disha are a real life couple as they have been spotted going for movies and dinners together, both actors have denied the news. The Heropanti star said, “I love Disha, as a friend, she is fun to work with. We are very comfortable with each other on the set and also off-screen. She is a very talented, hardworking girl and she pushes me to work harder.” He disclosed he likes spending quality time with her, be it at the gym, dance rehearsals or at movies.  “We like spending time together, we go for dance rehearsals, sometimes we meet in the gym, I love to eat, she loves to eat, so every now and then we go and eat.”



Disha too shared that her and Tiger are often hanging around together because they have similar interests. “We are very good friends, we have been dancing and playing other sports together, so we have this comfort zone already. We both are like kids, we like playing football, basketball and all these sports, we have this friendship which makes us quite comfortable. We go out with friends for dinner and movies and all of this is pretty normal.”

Disha will be seen in the biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni starring Sushant Singh Rajput, and in Kung Fu Yoga.
