At gunpoint: Man, two women robbed

The robbers snatched prize bonds worth Rs0.1m

RAWALPINDI: A man and two women were robbed at gunpoint in the Civil Lines area of Rawalpindi in the last 24 hours.

In the first incident, Shaista lodged a complaint with the local police that three armed robbers intercepted her outside a general store and snatched her bag, containing Rs95,000 cash, a mobile phone and important documents.

In another incident, two armed motorcyclists intercepted Farah Naz at a market and snatched her handbag, containing Rs11,000 cash and a mobile phone. Meanwhile, Fida Hussain was robbed by two masked motorcyclists while he was travelling home on his bike.  The robbers snatched prize bonds worth Rs0.1m, cash worth Rs5,000, a mobile phone and a driving licence from him.
